Can we sink any lower?

I cannot stand Donald Trump, I am horrified and disgusted that he got elected and I can’t wait for this nightmare to be over.

But there has to be a better way than telling the world he dropped his pants so a porn star he invited to his hotel room (while his wife recovered from childbirth and he was also bonking a Playboy Playmate) could “punish” him for spending too much time talking about himself,” by swatting his ass with a magazine that just so Continue reading

The right to bear barbs …

I have a new hobby. Actually, maybe it’s less of a hobby and more like therapy. I’ve taken to Twitter. Well, that’s not it, exactly. I’ve been tweeting for ages. I’m now using Twitter to get rid of my aggression and frustration.

For the last few weeks I’ve regularly blasted 45, his daughter-wife, Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz. I can’t tell you how good it felt to tell Ivanka to do everyone a favour and go back to stealing shoe designs; and to call Continue reading

My very own pussy riot …

HERE’S THE COMPLETE ARTICLE I MISTAKENLY PUBLISHED  LAST WEEKEND.

It’s been close to 40 years since I’ve lived without a cat in my life and I’m shocked at how “still” and lifeless my apartment is.

Eerily, uncomfortably so, to be honest. I’m amazed at the energy these little critters bring. For a while now I’ve said — to myself mostly — that Bartlett (my last to go, just last Wednesday, pictured here) would be it for me.

In my early years I wanted a dog and while it took my dad and me quite a while to convince my mother, I did finally get my wish, although truth be told, Tosca’s heart belonged to her. He liked us well Continue reading

So sorry for the screw up …

Want to apologize to my followers who got emails today, notifying them that I’d published a new blog post. Except it was only partially written.

It wasn’t meant to be published today. I was merely working on it today, for publishing on my regular posting day, which is Tuesday. I’d made a couple of changes and instead of clicking “save” I clicked “publish” by mistake.

I immediately went back in and trashed it, but it was too late — it was already out there.

Be on the look-out for another notification email on Tuesday. And this time you’ll get to read the entire story. Hope you like it.

Sorry, sorry, sorry.

Can someone please explain?

How can more than 100 people working in the White House be there without security clearance? Accessing top secret information? Seriously, how?

How can Donald Trump be president with all his conflicts of interest, never mind all the other issues? Seriously, how?

How is it okay that Jared Kushner met, in the White House, with one of the founders of Apollo Global Management and Citigroup’s chief executive, and then both companies gave a combined $500 million in loans to his family’s companies? Seriously, how?

How is it okay that Jared Kushner backed a blockade of Qatar just weeks after their minister of finance turned his family down when they tried to get him to Continue reading
