I can’t say I’m sorry to see it go. An annus horribilis if ever there was one. But it’s over now and this is a new day and a new year and a fresh start. And can the world ever use it!
Oprah said it best: “Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.” Amen to that.
Happy New Year Fransi, we will make it better because we choose to and not let external events have so much influence over our internal state, for me that means more books and meditation and writing and less screening! Thanks for being such a loyal follower and thoughtful commenter on my blog, I look forward to the day we can chat books and life over coffee in the south of France.
Thank you Claire and Happy New Year to you. I so agree with you and I, too, have been doing much less screening — we do not have to immerse ourselves in the melodrama, the choice is ours. I also meditate and am trying to make more time for personal writing and reading and seeing friends — concentrating on the joy and looking for the light — and reading your blog is part of that. I, too, look forward to chatting with you in the south of France. I have a feeling we’d have so much to say, coffee might end up turning into several glasses of wine.
Happy New Year, Fransi
The same to you Jo
🙂 I second that!
Hell yeah!!
and to you!
Thank you!!
2018 history. 2019 history in the making. Happy New Year Fransi and many more to come hopefully.
Thank you Chris and the same to you! Hopefully 2019’s history in the making will be a little less melodramatic.
