Back to reality …

Don’t know if you’ve realized it, but for the last little while I have been making a real effort to think (and write) only about the positive: Pleasant memories, good times, gratitude and so on.

It’s worked, too.

The more I’ve concentrated on the upbeat, the less involved I’ve been in the Trump madness, the better my mood and my attitude have become.

But nothing lasts forever, I guess. The world isn’t rosy all the time and fake euphoria (like fake news) doesn’t do anyone any good. So I’m going to give in, vent for a minute, get it off my chest, and hope it’ll go away. Then Continue reading

It seems I’ve undergone a metamorphosis …

… or at least turned over a new leaf.  And not a fig leaf either.  I hate to disappointment anyone but despite the drawing this adam and eveisn’t a post about men and women.  Or sex.  It’s about temptation.  Well, not really, but sort of.  Or resisting temptation.  Sort of, but not really.

A bit of background.

As long as I’ve been earning money I’ve liked gizmos and gadgets.  Well, I’ve probably always liked them.  But it’s only since I’ve been earning my own keep that I could indulge myself and buy them whenever I’ve felt like it.

Day 234. Fight Club

This isn’t the first time I’ve said, in my blog, I’m not a fan of our Mayor.  Rob Ford is his name.  And if ever there was a polarizing human being, it is him.  You are birdseither a staunch supporter, or you just cannot stand him.

There is absolutely no middle ground.

I fall into the latter category.  But like it or not, he got elected.  Nothing more to say about that.

Don’t worry, I am not about to put you to sleep with a diatribe about his politics.  It wouldn’t mean anything to you.  Much as I would love to, I’m not even going to vent about his character, which leaves a lot to be desired.  Or his personal ‘issues’, of which there are many.
