Want to apologize to my followers who got emails today, notifying them that I’d published a new blog post. Except it was only partially written.
It wasn’t meant to be published today. I was merely working on it today, for publishing on my regular posting day, which is Tuesday. I’d made a couple of changes and instead of clicking “save” I clicked “publish” by mistake.
I immediately went back in and trashed it, but it was too late — it was already out there.
Be on the look-out for another notification email on Tuesday. And this time you’ll get to read the entire story. Hope you like it.
Last Tuesday Kathy Griffin (an American comedian) posted a video of herself holding a fake, bloodied, decapitated Donald Trump head. But much as I detest him (and his cohorts) and everything they’ve said, done and stand for, I did not find it at all amusing.
Frankly, I’ve never been a fan of hers. I don’t find her particular brand of humour even remotely funny. Definitely not my cup of tea.
I’m not one to pass the buck. We all mess up from time to time. When I do, I like to own up to it, get it off my chest, so to speak. What can I say? I have a conscience. Well, this past Friday was my day. Not the only time I’ve ever screwed up, by a long shot. Let’s just say it was the most recent.
It wasn’t a mistake, per say. It was an oversight. Make that two oversights. I just realized it, so I’m here to set the record straight.
What I’m referring to is the blog I wrote, about receiving the “Versatile Blogger Award”. To be honest, I wasn’t feeling all that great; and I wasn’t my usual thorough self. There are two bloggers whose blogs I really enjoy, whose blogs I follow; and, had I been thinking clearly, I would have included them on my list of nominees.
